Serenity Through Balance®

 

Sun Salutation ~ Surya Namaskar

A series of asanas which heat the body and enhance respiratory and cardiovascular function.  This flow is often used at the beginning of a practice to prepare the body.

Sun Salutations teach yogis to coordinate breathing with movement.

 

*Because inversions are included in Sun Salutations, caution should be exercised, especially among those with glaucoma, blood pressure disorders and retinal detachment.*
